Classes & Fees

Details below are from the current yoga brochure. Ask Elizabeth for one at your next visit. Term fees are non-refundable, but you are welcome to make up any classes missed in any other class in the same term. If you know you will be away on holiday later in the term, you can make up the classes before this time.

GENERAL YOGA
Tues 10.30 am, Wed 7.30 pm, Sat 8 am – 1 hour 45min **
A yoga class for everyone, commencing with a short relaxation to wind down. A combination of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing practices) at an introductory level with the possibility of more **difficult variations for those with some yoga experience. The class finishes with deep relaxation (visualization).
$25 casual or $200 per 10-week term

RELAXATION & GENTLE YOGA
Thurs 6.45 pm – 1 hour 15 min
A mindful yoga and relaxation class to release stress and anxiety to body and mind, combining breath and gentle yoga movements. This class is also popular during pregnancy or for those with arthritis and other painful ailments.
$180 per 10-week term

MEDITATION
Thurs 8.15 pm – 1 hour
Two sessions of meditation will be offered per term. Learn different meditation techniques to find a style that suits you. Meditation practised regularly can have a profound effect on our daily lives. It brings us into contact with a deep reservoir of peace and harmony within us.
$20 per session or 2 sessions for $30

BACKCARE YOGA
Mon 5.45 pm – 1 hour 15min
Gentle yoga stretching and strengthening with breath awareness and relaxation to ease backaches and pain. Excellent for back pain sufferers and those that spend many hours sitting at a computer.
$180 per 10-week term

SENIORS YOGA
Wed 9.30 am – 1 hour
Held in the Presbyterian Community Church Hall, Macquarie Road, Springwood. This is a very gentle class of asanas and relaxation for those over 60.
$10 (donation given to Winmalee Neighbourhood Centre)

PRIVATE YOGA THERAPY
One-to-one private yoga sessions can be designed to meet your individual physical, mental and emotional needs. You will be given specific practices to do at home that will bring about balance and enhance the quality of your life.
$80 per session (Please note: Private classes for individuals or families have been temporarily paused until further notice.)

What do I wear? Wear any comfortable loose-fitting garments. Any clothes that allow you to move freely. It is best to practice on an empty stomach.

What do we bring? Just bring yourself in comfortable clothing. Yoga mats, blankets, cushions, eye bags etc are all provided at Elizabeth’s Yoga Room. (If you feel more comfortable using your own mat or other items please feel free to bring these with you.)

How to get there? It is a 2 km walk from Springwood station. Parking is available at the top of the property with a short, steep walk down a driveway to the yoga room below. (Please inquire about disability parking and access). Contact Elizabeth for more directions and information.
